How long can I expect Chantal's non-stick surface to last? -

Chantal backs their Excalibur non-stick system with a 25 year limited warranty. Used by finer cookware manufacturer's, Chantal's Excalibur® non-stick system is one of the toughest, most durable non-stick systems in the world.

Most non-stick surfaces are a simple coating applied over a metal substrate, with some surface penetration. The Excalibur® system includes a matrix of stainless steel that is bonded to Chantal's pot, actually becoming part of it. Two non-stick coatings are then applied into and over the stainless steel matrix.
